Day 01: Cochin
Welcomed by Cosmovision representative at Cochin Airport ina an Indian traditional way and transfer to hotel. After refresh, proceed for city sightseeing tour visit 500 year old Portuguese Houses, Chinese fishing nets, St Francis Church the oldest Church in India, Jew Town. Night stay in Cochin.
Day 02: Kothamangalam Home Stay
Early morning drive to Kothamangalam and on arrival transfer to resort booked in advance then after refresh spend time at leisure in a century old estate bungalow set in over 100 acres of multi crop plantation. Visit the Kodanad elephant orphanage, the camp has 6 to 7 small elephants. enjoy bathing the elephants in the river also training and feeding the elephants. For break and relaxation there is a tree house built by the Forest Department within the training camp and Elephant rides can also be arranged. Night stay at the Mundackal Estate Bungalow.
Day 03: Munnar Tea Hills
After breakfast proceed for sightseeing in Munnar which includes Mattupetty, Eco-Point, Tea Museum. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Munnar – Periyar (Thekkady)
Today morning drive to Periyar an area known for its undulating hills, spice plantations, and elephant sightings. One of the 27 tiger reserves in India, the Periyar valley in Thekkady is the oldest. Check into your hotel. You could go on a spice plantation tour today where you will be enticed by not only the aroma of spices like cinnamon, cardamom, pepper and nutmeg but will also get to know how they are grown, harvested and processed before they reach the supermarkets. It is also possible to go for an Elephant ride today. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel Niraamaya Retreats Cardamom Club.
Day 05: Periyar
Today you could go for an escorted jungle trek inside the periyar wild life sanctuary to spot animals. In the evening you could also go for a boat ride is an option where you will get the opportunity to sight elephants and other animals along the bank. You can also try ayurveda massage here. Overnight at the hotel Niraamaya Retreats Cardamom Club.
Day 06: House Boat (5 hrs drive)
Morning drive to Alleppey, embark on your private houseboat and cruise on the Backwaters, a splendid area full of canals, lakes and coves. Your houseboats or ‘Kettuvalloms’ are luxurious boats with well-appointed bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms. You can sunbathe on the deck or observe the palm fringed landscape from your cabins. Apart from the mesmerizing surroundings it’s the life along the coast that adds a touch of exotica to this experience. The locals’ travel in canoes and you will find vegetable sellers, fishermen and other traders bringing household goods, door to door in small wooden boats. As you cruise along the backwaters you can ask your captain to stop at villages, paddy fields and other places, enroute. Overnight on board. (Full Board).
Day 07: Kumarakom
Morning drive to Kumarakom-Vembanad has a panoramic backwater stretches, lush paddy fields, highlands and extensive rubber plantations. As you start spending your days here, you can while away your time fishing and thus, ignite the memories of your childhood. Simply walk along the banks of the Vembanad Lake and, conjure up the memories of your teens. Go boating using the traditional snake boat and, discover the skipper in you. For the fitness freaks, swimming in the Vembanad Lake can be quite an invigorating experience. And still, you can loiter around the spread-out yet placid place and rewind the good old thoughts of your botany classes. Or else one can meditate sitting in the podium located at the far end of the place overlooking the backwaters. And when tired, feel free to take a cool siesta in the lap of nature.
The other activities at the Vembanad House include a local village tour, visit to the local temples, boat ride to Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary and Pathiramanal, house boat ride at the Vembanad Lake, shopping assistance from the village handicraft centre and trip to the local beach. Day 08: Marari Beach
Drive to Marari beach, on the way you can see the never ending paddy fields and coconut plams, facing Arabian Sea and Theeyaseril Pozhi (lake). Blessed by nature on one side and and all backwaters, boarded by coconut palms, a natural habitat of many rare birds. On the other side, an exclusive sunny beach with crystal clear sand. Day 09: Marari Beach

Day 10: Departure: (2 hrs drive)
